Mousehunt: Top Bases

OK, I will discuss about the Top Bases in the game of MouseHunt. But first, let me introduce you to my bases which were my favorite ones.

1. Runic Base
RUNIC?? REALLY?
Yeah! Simple as it is! Just look at the stats:
Power: 200
Power Bonus: 12%
Attraction Bonus: 10%
Luck: 5
Cheese Effect: No Effect

All the stats are great! It's just like a stable base on every stats. But now I leave that base, I have something better.

2. Tiki Base and Monolith Base
a. Tiki is considered a waste of gold. Are you serious??
Well, yeah! Why not? Take a look:
Power: 200
Power Bonus: 18%
Attraction Bonus: 5%
Luck: 0 (6 on Derr, Elub, Nerg and Cape)
Cheese Effect: Very Fresh

Yep, Power Bonus! Awesome for Traps with high-Power but low-Power Bonus!

b. Monolith, eh? Really?
Interchangeable with Tiki at certain situation. How?
Power: 300
Power Bonus: 12%
Attraction Bonus: n/a
Luck: n/a
Cheese Effect: No Effect

With low-Power traps but high-Power Bonus, it can beat Tiki!

3. Candy Cane Base
Candy Cane? Can't argue with that...
True, it's simply a better Aqua Base.
Power: 300
Power Bonus: n/a
Attraction Bonus: n/a
Luck: 8
Cheese Effect: Fresh
Best Luck Base for me. (It was)

OK, those were my most-used bases. Now I will explain the Top 4 Bases in the world of MouseHunt.

1. Magma Base (L.E. ALERT!!)
Yes, Magma. Really, this is the best base in the whole history of MouseHunt!
Power: 300
Power Bonus: 8%
Attraction Bonus: 5%
Luck: 10
Cheese Effect: Insanely Stale

Don't ever let the Cheese Effect fool you! Despite the negative Cheese Effect it has, the Power, the Power Bonus and the Luck shouldn't be questioned! This Limited Edition (LE) Base holds the highest Luck among all bases in-game. With the Power and Power Bonus it has, it's a base balance in both Power and Luck. With this Base at hand, you'll succeed hunting more often.

Due to the fact that it's LE, this base is no longer available. Don't be sad! There are other bases capable of beating Magma at certain situation!

2. Molten Shrapnel Base
Yes, the base of Catacombs/Lagoon/SteelMouse Veterans. Its hardest part, 200 Scrap Metals, which could take a month full of hunting at Catacombs or Lagoon, is definitely worth the effort. Know why? Check this out:
Power: 300
Power Bonus: 12%
Attraction Bonus: 5%
Luck: 8
Cheese Effect: Extremely Stale

It's simply comparable to Magma Base. Still, Magma is better. However, for those who doesn't have Magma, this base is definitely a good choice.

This so-called MSB is a combination from Several Base, E (Event), LE and non-LE:
1. Monolith - Its Power Bonus, 12%
2. Candy Cane - Its Luck, 8
3. Magma - Its Cheese Effect (But 1 grade less stale), Extremely Stale
4. Explosive Base/Firecracker - Their Attraction Bonus, 5%
5. All those 4 bases - Their Power, 300

This base has balance in both Power and Luck, thus making it a great base to be used anywhere.

3. SpellBook Base
Oh, yeah, the extremely powerful SpellBook Base! This is my replacement for Runic Base. Wanna know why?
Power: 500
Power Bonus: 14%
Attraction Bonus: 5%
Luck: 7
Cheese Effect: Fresh
Meant to be a Power Base. This base requires hard work and patience to obtain. That is by hunting in ZT for several runs, and catch the Chess Master. This base is best to be used against boss mice, due to its massive power that even exceeds some weapons. At some point, it still lose to MSB, despite the fact that it's only 1 Luck less than MSB.

4. Papyrus Base
Only available for Barons and above, since the materials required for this base exist in Baron Area.
Power: 400
Power Bonus: n/a
Attraction Bonus: n/a
Luck: 10
Cheese Effect: Fresh

Ah, yes. The Luck. Its Luck is equal to Magma's, but still lose to that LE Base, since the Power Bonus is 0. This is an ideal choice for anyone who wants 10-Luck Base. At certain points, it can be the best base among the 2 other non-LE Top Bases.

Like MSB and SBB (SpellBook), this base also requires patience to get. It requires 98 Papyrus. Papyrus is obtained from Blacksmith and Mage Weaver. They can only be attracted by Artisan Charms, and Artisan Charms can be purchased from Muridae Market Charm Shoppe. Not yet! Charm Shoppe must be rebuilt first, and requires Molten Glass. Molten Glass can be obtained by rebuilding General Store. As soon as you reach the Market, you can start collecting materials and rebuild the Store. But to access the Market, you must defeat at least 1 Marching Flame Battalion. A very long way, isn't it?

75 Scrap Metals are also required. But don't worry! You won't have to go back and farm SMs for it. Blacksmith mice drops them, and they can drop more than 1. When you have 98 Papyrus, then you should have the Scrap Metals already. This base is purchased from Trapsmith, costs 1,176,000 gold, 98 Papyrus, 75 Scrap Metals and 2 Tiny Platinum Bars.
